If there’s one thing that Motorola does well is that they make some of the best budget Android smartphones. If you’re considering upgrading your current handset and don’t want to spend too much money, it seems that Motorola is working on a 2024 version of the Moto G Power 5G.

Thanks to the folks at MySmartPrice who worked with tipster OnLeaks, renders of the upcoming handset have leaked online in which we can now get an idea of what to expect from the phone.

One of the main changes to the design of the phone is to the back of the handset. Based on what we can see in the renders, it seems that the back of the phone will be slightly flatter compared to its predecessor. The camera module has also undergone a slight redesign, but otherwise it looks like it will continue packing a dual camera setup.

As for specs, the rumors claim that it will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The cameras are a 50MP and 2MP combo, and it will come with a 5,000mAh battery.

There’s no word on pricing right now, but the Moto G Power 5G (2023) was sold at around the $300 mark, so presumably the 2024 model will go for roughly the same price as well.
