Alongside the Xiaomi 14 serikes, the OnePlus 12 would also be one of the first few flagship phones to launch with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The company hasn’t announced when the phone will launch, but it looks like we could be getting very close.
This is according to a sighting spotted on the 3C website, a certification website, which means that we are now one step closer to the actual launch, which last we heard could be taking place towards the end of the month.
The listing does not reveal any information about the phone’s hardware, save for its potential charging speed which appears to be 100W, similar to that of the OnePlus 11, so it doesn’t look like there are any upgrades in that department. To be fair, 100W is pretty fast so we’re not too upset by that.
Previous reports have also revealed that OnePlus and BOE will be working together to develop a new display for the phone that is said to reach 3,000 nits in peak brightness, beating out other phones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. A recent rumor also claims that the phone could be using a new camera sensor from Sony, but it remains to be seen what it is capable of.
