With the Nintendo Switch 2 expected to be revealed some time next year (at least according to most rumors), Nintendo has surprisingly – and impressively – not slowed down on giving fans more special-edition variants of the current-gen Nintendo Switch, which saw a snazzy new red model launch a couple of months ago.
With that being said, Nintendo recently announced a new design variant of the Switch, which now comes in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition. The model features a mostly grey color accent, with the Smash Bros. logo printed onto the Joy Cons. Meanwhile, the dock features artwork with all the mainstay Smash Bros. characters such as Link, Mario, and Pikachu, to name a few.
As for hardware, the new special edition retains the same internal specs as the “regular” OLED model, although there’s a bundled download code for Smash Bros. Ultimate included with each purchase.
