LG unveils its brand new Gram and Gram Pro laptops ahead of CES 2024

AI is all the rage these days so it doesn’t really come as a surprise to learn that ahead of CES 2024, LG has unveiled its brand new series of Gram and Gram Pro laptops that take advantage of Intel’s AI Boost NPU hardware.

The lineup consists of the LG Gram Pro 16 and 17 and the LG Gram Pro 2-in-1. For the LG Gram Pro lineup, it will be offered with a Wide Quad display or OLED, depending on your configuration, and will also come with NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs as well as a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU for that extra boost in the graphics department.

LG also claims that the Pro models will feature the use of a dual cooling system, so if you need to perform more demanding tasks like video editing or playing games, the new cooling system should help keep the laptop nice and cool to keep it operating at optimal levels.

If you don’t need such a powerful laptop and just want something that’s light and compact for day-to-day tasks, the LG gram 17, 16, 15 and 14 laptops could be a good fit. They will be powered by Intel’s Core Ultra processors and will also feature the use of NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs and IPS display panels. Depending on the model, they will also come with either 77Wh or 72Wh batteries, so they should last a decent amount of time if you’re constantly on the move.

Pricing and availability has yet to be determined but we expect LG will share those details at a later date.
