Most smartphones these days tend to come with batteries ranging from 4,000mAh to 5,000mAh, with some going over, and some going under. The OnePlus 11 came with a 5,000mAh battery, but it seems that for the upcoming OnePlus 12R, the company will be giving it its biggest battery to date.
OnePlus has confirmed several features of the phone ahead of its launch. This includes the battery which will be of the 5,500mAh variety. This is in line with what we had heard previously, and it is also the biggest battery we’ve ever seen in a OnePlus phone so far. It remains to be seen how much longer the phone will last with an extra 500mAh battery, but it’s still a good thing.
It’s also interesting to note that it will be bigger than the OnePlus 12 flagship which will come with a 5,400mAh battery.
Other features that OnePlus have confirmed includes its display. The OnePlus 12R will feature the use of a LTPO 4.0 ProXDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The company did not confirm the display size but last we heard, it could pack a 6.78-inch display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The OnePlus 12R will debut alongside the OnePlus 12 on the 23rd of January. The company is expected to make it available globally, so check back with us then for its pricing and availability.
