Are you looking for a new monitor for your work or gaming setup? If you are, then you might be interested to learn that ahead of CES 2024, Dell has announced a brand new display that will be part of the company’s UltraSharp series of monitors.
This is a massive monitor. It has a 40-inch curved display with a 5K resolution. This could be ideal for users who prefer a single monitor setup but also want the screen real estate that a dual or triple monitor setup could offer. We’ll admit that it is a neat setup but you’ll want to make sure you have space on your desk for it.
Other specs of the monitor include a 120Hz refresh rate, which is considered on the slightly lower side when it comes to gaming displays, but it should be fine if you’re not too fussed. It also has a 178-degree viewing angle, supports DisplayHDR 600, a built-in ambient light sensor for auto screen adjustment, and a built-in Thunderbolt 4 hub.
This hub could be especially useful for Mac users who might want an external monitor to connect their MacBooks to. The hub will offer up to 140W of power delivery so it should be more than enough to charge the majority of laptops, and there is also a built-in Ethernet port, USB-A ports, USB-C ports, and also HDMI and DisplayPorts.
The monitor won’t come cheap though. Dell has priced it at a whopping $2,399.99 and they expect it to be available globally come 27th of February.
