There’s no denying that Poco is the king when it comes to mid-range phones. The company made a name for themselves years ago with the debut of the Poco F1, and they have since followed up with a bunch of mid-range smartphones, all of which offer great value for money. This year is no different as the company has announced the Poco X6, X6 Pro, and the M6 Pro.
The Poco X6 and X6 Pro are quite similar to each other. They both come with a 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K AMOLED display and have a 120Hz refresh rate. They also both have a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. One of the main differences in their displays is that the X6 uses a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus while the X6 Pro has a Gorilla Glass 5.
There are differences under the hood. The X6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while the X6 Pro uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. Other than that, both phones come with 8-12GB of RAM and have up to 512GB of storage. The cameras are also quite similar on both models. They feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro, with a 16MP selfie cam topping things off.
As for battery, the Poco X6 has a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery while the X6 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery. Both models also support 5G connectivity.
As for the M6 Pro, the handset will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ Flow AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chipset and comes with 8-12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The cameras on the Poco M6 Pro are also quite similar to the X6 series where there will be a 64MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro, along with a 16MP front-facing shooter. The phone will also come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W charging. The main difference here would be the display and chipset of choice and 5G, where the Poco M6 Pro will only support 4G LTE.
Poco hasn’t announced the pricing of their new mid-range smartphones.
