REDMAGIC’s New GaN Charger Packs Speedy but Safe Charging

Besides smartphones, Chinese manufacturer REDMAGIC also specializes in developing smartphone peripherals, which include accessories such as chargers. With that in mind, REDMAGIC recently announced that it will be launching a new DAO 150W GaN charger, which will go on sale on March 1, with a $20 discount until March 31.

In terms of compatibility, the charger comes with support for multiple devices thanks to a generous serving of ports including a 150W DC port, a pair of USB-C ports with 140W output, and a 30W USB-A output. For design, the charger includes foldable prongs, as well as a desktop charging station. REDMAGIC also states that the charger is designed to prevent overcharging and overheating, making it safe for use.

Additionally, the charger also features a transparent housing which REDMAGIC refers to as a “DAO” design (hence the name). This integrates a metallic design and RGB lighting, adding a bit of gaming-inspired design that the REDMAGIC brand is known for.
