It’s that time of the month again – Google has announced that it will be bringing a wide variety of new software functionality to several of its Pixel devices via the March 2024 feature drop. With that being said though, only a handful of Pixel devices will get the new features.

This includes support for 10-bit HDR video and Ultra HDR photo uploads on Instagram, which will be possible with phones including the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, and Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. Circle to Search will also arrive on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, making them the newest devices (aside from the Pixel 8 series) to have support for the feature.
For select devices including the Pixel Tablet, Fold, and 5a, App Screen Sharing allows users to share one app at a time instead of their full screen when casting, recording, or presenting in a video call. Google has also added Fast Pair, letting users access previously set up Bluetooth accessories on new devices.
The March 2024 feature drop also comes with boosts for productivity in the form of Docs Markup, allowing users to add handwritten annotations to a document from their Android device using only their finger or stylus, and the GBoard Voice Toolbar for Tablets that optimizes screen space by minimizing the digital keyboard when voice input is activated.
With all that being said, Google also provided updates for the Pixel Watch, which now adds support for new training modes, heart zone mode, as well as the Fitbit Relax App.
