If you own a Nintendo Switch console, then you might want to check your device for the latest system update, which adds a couple of changes to pre-existing features. The new update comes with version number 18.0.0, and finally gives users the option to set their Switch to go into automatic Sleep Mode after 15 minutes of standby.

Additionally, the new update also allows users to select Korean for the parental controls introduction video. No other major changes are included with 18.0.0, which also features the usual “system stability” spiel from Nintendo. Users can check out the newest Switch update on their console by heading into System Settings > System > System Update.

In other related Switch news, it seems that the console’s popularity has seen no signs of slowing down, as it continues to catch up to lifetime sales of Sony’s PlayStation 2, which is heralded as one of the best-selling game consoles of all time. For context, Sony says that the PS2 has sold 160 million units since its launch, while the Switch has currently sold nearly 140 million units.
