Content creation is all the rage these days. With digital cameras being so easily accessible, anyone can pick up a camera (or their phone) and start creating content. The market is so competitive that content creators sometimes need to find new and interesting ways of filming their videos, and the Insta360 X4 could be one way to go about it.

For those unfamiliar, Insta360 is a digital camera company that specializes in digital cameras that can shoot 360-degree video. This is useful not just for creating virtual reality content, but it can also be used to create videos with unique and interesting perspectives. The company is no stranger to the format, but the Insta360 X4 could be a game changer for some.

To start, it offers 8K video recording. This is a massive step up and while the majority of online content is still mostly 4K, futureproofing your content is not a bad idea. Plus, if you plan to shoot for VR, having a higher resolution can help make the experience more immersive. In addition to 8K, it can also shoot at 5.7K at 60 fps.

There are also a bunch of pretty cool effects like Bullet Time, 8K TimeShift, and an 11K Timelapse. Insta360 is also hopping on board the AI bandwagon by introducing AI-powered video editing. If you’re new to video editing, using Insta360’s AI will make the process a lot easier. Speaking of software, those of you who use Adobe Premiere Pro can also use the new Insta360 Reframe plugin.

The new Insta360 X4 is powered by a 5nm AI chip. It will also introduce Voice and Gesture control. The battery life on the new camera is also pretty fantastic as it boasts a 135 minute runtime. If you’re interested in the new Insta360 X4, it will be available for purchase via Insta360’s website for $499.99.
