If you own a Google Pixel device, then you might want to check your phone for the latest software patch, which includes Google’s May 2024 software update. As usual, the new patch features fixes for known issues in addition to security concerns.

In terms of compatibility, the software patch is available for the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 8 series, as well as the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold. According to Google’s official support page, the new software update addresses issues with stability and performance for Bluetooth LE audio, and issues with the camera performance under certain conditions when recording video.
Users can check for the update by heading into Settings > System > Software Updates to prompt their phone to scan for the latest software patch.
