Another Nintendo Game Franchise gets the LEGO Treatment

0

Nintendo is no stranger to occasionally collaborating with other big brands in order to give fans more of its popular IP beyond video games. One good example is the company’s occasional collaboration with LEGO, which has resulted in the launch of several  Super Mario sets, and more recently Animal Crossing sets.

With that being said though, in a somewhat surprise announcement, LEGO announced the upcoming launch of its first-ever official set based on the Legend of Zelda series, which is perhaps one of Nintendo’s more iconic video game franchises. Countless LEGO and Zelda fans have long waited for a set based on the games, and it’s finally come to fruition.

The set will be a 2-in-1 build, which features the Great Deku Tree from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. Builders can choose to construct one of two sets, which also comes with minifigures based on Young and Adult Link from Ocarina of Time, as well as Link and Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild.

It’s not on sale at the moment, however – fans can pre-order it from LEGO with orders shipping on September 1st, although it does come with a hefty 300-dollar price tag. Will you be getting one?
