The Pixel Watch 3 just made a pit stop at the FCC

0

Following the launch of the Pixel Watch 2, we expect that Google will probably follow up with a Pixel Watch 3. For those looking for something short of a confirmation, you’re in luck. The folks at MySmartPrice have spotted a listing at the FCC for what appears to be the Google Pixel Watch 3.

For those unfamiliar, devices that are sold in the US require FCC approval before it can go on sale. It is usually the last stop before it is launched. According to the listing, it looks like there are four models. This includes GBDU9, GGE4J, GG3HH, and GRY0E. It is speculated that the models are for the 41mm and 45mm models, with different connectivity options such as WiFi-only and cellular support.

The listing doesn’t reveal the design or reveal additional specifications or features of the watch. That is a bit unfortunate, but luckily, we probably won’t have to wait too long. Google has sent out invites to an event they’ll be hosting in August which will most likely see the company announce their new Pixel 9 smartphones.

We also expect that the Pixel Watch 3 will make an appearance, along with other devices like new Google Pixel Buds, and maybe even a new Pixel Tablet. Either way, we’ll have to wait. But if you’re looking to get a new smartwatch, then this FCC listing of the Pixel Watch 3 means you’ll have at least one more option to choose from when it launches.
