While the likelihood of seeing new Pixel Buds at Google’s upcoming August launch event seems murky at the moment, it looks like new rumors have once again fuelled talks of a possible August launch for the next-generation Pixel Buds Pro.
This is based on a post online claiming that Google will launch the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in four different colours. As posted by @evowizz, Google will launch the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in Raspberry, Mojito, Porcelain and Haze color variants. Of course at this point nothing is “official” until Google says so, but given the accuracy of most Google product leaks in the past few years, it shouldn’t be surprising if this one turns out correct.
The Pixel Buds Pro were launched back in July of 2022, a few months before the arrival of the Pixel 7. They feature a very minimalist design with a style that’s pretty much inline with the rest of Google’s hardware offerings, and offer up to 11 hours of play time on a single charge, with a maximum of 31 hours with the charging case. Other features include active noise cancelling, and wireless charging via the charging case.
