The OnePlus Pad 2 could see an increase in price

0

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be officially announced at the upcoming Summer Launch Event on the 16th of July. The details of the OnePlus Pad 2 should be revealed then, including its specs and price. Unfortunately for those planning to get the tablet, be prepared to pay a higher price.

This is according to a post on X by tipster Yogesh Brar who claims that the OnePlus Pad 2 could see an increase in price. The report claims that the tablet will be sold for around $575. For context, the original OnePlus Pad was sold on launch day for $480, which means that we could be looking at an increase in price of at least $50.

One thing to note is that the prices Brar posted are in Indian Rupees. We’re not sure if this will translate to the actual price in the US, but it does seem to be more expensive in general. That being said, the OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The chipset is reportedly more expensive than the previous model. This could be a reason for the increase in price.

In any case, we should have all the details tomorrow. So for now, do take this report with a grain of salt.
