OnePlus recently pushed the first-ever software update for the OnePlus Nord 4, its latest midrange Android phone. If you own the Nord 4 then you might want to check if your device is eligible for the update, which does come with some new features and improvements. As such, the changelog for the update (AKA Oxygen OS 14.1.0.320) lists the following changes:
- System
- Improves system stability and performance.
- Camera
- Adds Android’s Ultra HDR support for our ProXDR photos, which can be shared and displayed with a higher dynamic range on an app running on a device that supports Ultra HDR.
- Improves camera performance for a better user experience.
For the Indian variant of the Nord 4, OnePlus has also included the “Best Face” AI feature mentioned in the changelog:
- System
- Adds the AI Best Face feature, which allows you to fix closed eyes in group photos.
Launched not too long ago, the OnePlus Nord 4 comes with a metal unibody design that wraps around a 6.74-inch AMOLED display, and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset along with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage inside. OnePlus says that it will provide long-term software support with up to four years of major Android upgrades.
