The Pixel Watch’s August 2024 Update is a Small One
If you own Google’s Pixel Watch or Watch 2, then you might want to check if your device has received the latest software update. Google recently announced that it’s started rolling out the August 2024 software update for Pixel Watches running Wear OS 4, which will continue to roll out over the next few weeks.
The update isn’t anything too major, although it states that it come with security patches. The update comes with version number TWD9.240805.001.A2 for global models, of the Pixel Watch and Watch 2. As per Google’s official support page:
- What’s Included: The August 2024 software update includes the latest security patches for Pixel Watch users.
Pixel Watch users can check for the update by heading into their Settings app, head on over to System and then tap on System Updates. Google also announced the roll-out of its August 2024 update for Pixel phones and tablets, which you can check out here.
