Razer’s definitely no stranger to high-end gaming accessories, with a wide array of some of the most impressive gear we’ve seen on the market. That being said, the manufacturer introduced a new addition to its lineup with the Wolverine V3 Pro controller, which is designed for Xbox consoles and Windows.
The Wolverine V3 Pro comes with a design that’s unmistakably “Razer.” It unsurprisingly follows a layout that’s akin to the standard Xbox controller layout, and comes with modern features such as user customizability, updated ergonomics. a set of mouse click back paddles, two claw grip bumpers, as well as Razer’s Pro HyperTriggers, and Hall Effect thumbsticks.
The controller is wireless as well, making it one of the few wireless third-party Xbox controllers available on the market. There’s a wired “Tournament Edition” as well which shares a lot of the same features of course, with the addition of a USB-C cable.
With all that being said though, one major consideration with the controller is its price – at $199, the Wolverine V3 Pro isn’t exactly cheap, and is a lot more expensive than even the standard Microsoft Xbox controller. Of course you do get features such as hall effect sticks and more, although it might be a bit too steep for some buyers out there.
