A Full-fledged Naruto Fighting Game is Headed to Mobile Devices

0

While it’s since been surpassed by several sequels now, Bandai Namco’s “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm” was a great throwback to the original seasons of the hit anime series. Originally launched for major console platforms from Sony, Microsoft, and eventually Nintendo and Steam, the game has certainly left its mark on within the greater Naruto media franchise.

With that said though, it looks like Bandai Namco wants to take the title out again for another spin – set to launch on September 25, the game will now be headed for Android devices with a ten-dollar price tag. With that said though, the mobile port does have a few differences in terms of gameplay.

Much like its original console versions, Ultimate Ninja Storm for Android will be a campaign-based solo game which follows Naruto’s early adventures, and will feature tons of different challenges. As it does borrow a lot of beat-em-up and fighting game mechanics, controls will be tweaked to better suit mobile phone screens, such as easy-tap buttons for Ninjutsu skills, auto-save support, battle assist in casual mode, as well as the option for manual control mode for more confident players.

The game is currently open for pre-registration, and folks interested in trying it might want to check it out on the Google Play Store.
