If you happen to own the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, then you might be interested to learn that Google has announced that they are bringing an exclusive Google Meet software feature to the handset.
This new feature is called Dual Screen. Basically what it does is that it will utilize both the front and rear-facing cameras on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This allows users to stream not just a video of themselves, but also a video feed of whatever it is that they are looking at.
It sounds like quite a novel feature, but it could be useful. For example, you could use it to show information on a whiteboard but at the same time stream your face so that people can see you talking. It could also be useful if you’re on holiday and want to show your friends and family members your hotel while also keeping yourself in view.
We’re not sure why this is an exclusive to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Maybe it will be available at a later date for other Pixel devices, but we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, if you own the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, you should expect this new feature as part of the latest update to Google Meet.
