If you’re looking for a new smartphone, there are many devices that have been announced earlier this year. But if you’re looking for a phone that packs awesome hardware and an amazing set of cameras, you might be interested in Xiaomi’s latest smartphones – the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro.
Starting with the Xiaomi 14T, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Based on these specs, the Xiaomi 14T is obviously an upper mid-range smartphone. It does, however, feature a large 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. It also packs a massive 5,000mAh battery that should last you quite a bit.
On the camera side of things, it features a 32MP front-facing camera and a triple camera setup on the back that consists of a 50MP wide, 50MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide.
Moving onto the Xiaomi 14T Pro, this handset actually earned the “Pro” name based on its specs. It is still powered by a MediaTek chipset, but instead of the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, it uses the 9300+ chipset. It maintains the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as the 6.67-inch OLED display and 5,000mAh battery. However, the camera is where things are slightly different.
It has a 1/1.31″ 50 MP Light Fusion 900 sensor, a 50MP 60mm telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide. The design of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is also different from the base 14T where its back panel is slightly curved. So overall the main difference would be the design and cameras and chipset.
If you’re keen on the Xiaomi 14T, it is priced starting at €650, while the Pro model will retail for €800.
