Realme Wants to Woo Power Users with the GT 7 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip

With Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset finally here, Realme announced that the new flagship SoC will debut with the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro, which is scheduled to launch later in November. Realme hasn’t revealed too much information about the phone, but it’s confident that it will be one to reckon with, especially in terms of performance.

With that said, the GT 7 Pro will be initially available across ten different markets internationally including India, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, and Thailand to name a few. It’s also set to make its debut later in November, although a specific release date has yet to be announced. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it’s expected that the phone will pack up to 1TB storage, a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, up to 16GB RAM and a 6,500 mAh battery.

As for the Snapdragon 8 Elite itself, Qualcomm’s new 3nm chipset packs new Oryon cores that Qualcomm sayscan result in up to 45% in power savings from the CPU. It also features Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU, along with all the usual trappings of modern Qualcomm chips such as enhanced AI processing, ray-tracing support for gaming, as well as enhanced computational photography.
