One of the things we didn’t really like about the Samsung Galaxy Ring is its battery life. For the price you’re paying, it’s kind of disappointing. Luckily, that could change with the Galaxy Ring 2 where according to a post on Naver, the smart ring could come with much-needed improved battery life.
The report claims that in addition to better battery life, the Galaxy Ring 2 is rumored to be thinner and will pack more features. It is also expected to launch slightly earlier than expected. To be honest, the improved battery life is already a huge win, assuming the rumors are true.
Also, if Samsung managed to find a way to slim the ring down even further, then that’s a big win. The Galaxy Ring isn’t exactly thick or fat by any means. It is thicker compared to a traditional ring, but it can be forgiven given that it packs a bunch of tech and sensors inside of it.
However, slimming it down could make it more appealing to users who wouldn’t mind using it as a fashion accessory as well. Either way, take it with a grain of salt for now but given the Galaxy Ring’s original launch, it could still be a while before we see its successor.
