The Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Changelog Posted – Everything You Wanted To Know About the J-Bean

As an admitted Android fanboy, I can often be found explaining to my friends ‘n family why they need to upgrade their devices, and get with the latest version of Android. Of course most of the time, this is simply done off the top of my head, trying to spit out all the new features and enhancements found in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Well, thanks to Hugo Barra’s tweet today, I wont have to anymore. The official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean changelog has been posted on Android.com, and it gives more detailed bullet points for those who really want to dive in, and learn absolutely everything about the latest version of Android.

If you guys want to brush up on your Jelly Bean trivia, follow the link below for all the deets. I’ve mentioned it before, but the Nexus 7 might be the first time many of you have ever owned a stock Android device with absolutely no manufacturer UI or bloatware. You’re gonna love it. Enjoy, folks.

  4. Nice, let me drool over this while my 1 year old phone still runs Android 2.3 which came out in 2010. CM9 still runs like crap on it or else i’d have that.

    1. I’m not running CM9, but I still have ICS with great battery life. LoL!!

    1. I mumble and have an accent and every time i ask goog a question or give it a command; 9 out of 10 times it works flawlessly. Cant say that about any other app out there. Goog Now is brilliant

  8. I must have seen the word “buttery” at least 10 times. I’m surprised that’s even legal to say it that many times.

  11. For those who haven’t received the update yet there’s a way to force it on your phone. XDA posted the instructions and it worked on my phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28695688 Btw this is for GSM Galaxy Nexus only. Mine is running takju but I don’t know about the people running yakju. But give it a shot anyways. I’m loving Jelly Bean :)
