Samsung Galaxy S3 owners around the world have been enjoying the phone’s update to Android 4.1.2, except, of course, for those in the US, where the absent is not-so-surprisingly missing. While the wait continues, leaks continue to emerge, providing hope that the new software could soon arrive. The latest? Leaked build VRBMA2 for Verizon’s edition of the phone.
The update, which appeared over at XDA, is an official build but it is far from the final version Verizon will eventually release. Word is the current software does not include Premum Suite features such as multi-window view, though it is unclear if this is due to the early nature of the release or if Verizon does not plan to include the bonus elements of Samsung’s TouchWiz UX.
The build is available for installation if you fancy yourself the adventurous type. Be warned there are still bugs to be uncovered as Verizon and Samsung tool this one towards a final release, a release with no release date set in stone just yet.

Hey Verizon, Wtf is taking 4.1.2 so long for my Galaxy Nexus?!! O_o
DONT HOLD UR BREATH FOR THAT UPDATE. THE PHONE IS STILL OK VERIZON JUST TURNED IT INTO A BRICK. JUST LEAVE VERIZON LIKE I DID. UR BETTER OFF.IMHO. VERIZON ALSO GAVE THE GALAXY NEXUS THE END OF LIFE TREATMENT. DONT EXPECT UPDATES FROM VERIZON AT ALL. THEY DROPPED THE BALL ON THE NETWORK. WHY U THINK THE NEXUS 4 DIDNT MAKE THE CUT ON NEITHER VERIZON NOR SPRINT. THE ONLY TRUE NEXUS IS A GSM NEXUS FROM THE PLAY STORE.
Sprint’s GSIII also has a 4.1.2 leak (MA4) since last week and its also missing most premium suite features. It’s not final though since MA6 build exist but not yet leak.
Pfft, my Verizon GS3 has been rocking 4.2.1 for a while now.
Wth is the update worth if it still wont allow multi windows. That’s the best part of the suite update sheesh get with it Verizon.
We got the 4.1.1 update…what….4 months later? Dont hold your breath people…
VERIZON SUCKS WITH ALL THEY CUTTING OUT THIS AND THAT ON THERE PHONES. SUCK A DEVICE KILL FOR CUSTOMERS. I SEE PPL LEAVING VERIZON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH.
