When it comes to the HTC One, it seems HTC could be thinking outside the box when it comes to marketing their upcoming flagship in fun new ways. Sure, they took the HTC One X on a sexy skydiving photo shoot, but that didn’t exactly bring the lulz.
Now, HTC is enlisting the help of James Van Der Beek and the rest of the Funny or Die crew to spoof the Bachelorette in “The One.” Have to admit, the video did manage to give me a good chuckle on a few occasions. Hahahaha I loved this. Missed James since “Apt 23” got canned. “James – Not a phone” classic.
I think it’s pretty funny and creative too. Way better then their old boring ads, or ads that didn’t make any sense (like the skydiving).
Overall I think it was creative and a good ad to run. Hopefully they keep up the creativity in their advertising so they remain a viable competitor and prevent Samsung from taking over all of Android.

I just saw a HTC boom sound commercial on FX. I’ve seen it every time it goes to a commercial. Its nce to see HTC putting out ads before the phone is out.
