Delivery Manager Mobilizes Your Business’s Shipping Needs

3

Perhaps the biggest concern in Android’s earliest stages was adopting the business user. With time, and thanks to the Android Market, it’s become an after thought and executives can finally drop their Blackberries and Windows Mobile devices in favor of our beloved little green robot.

Telargo is sweetening the deal even further with Delivery Manager. For those of you getting your fleet wet in the warehouse (see what i did there?), you’ll be happy to know that you soon won’t need to hang around the depressing workstation any longer. This app delivers everything that you need to manage the bulk of your shipping and delivery needs right in the palm of your hand (the pun in that sentence couldn’t be any louder. Or lamer.)

Rodney Clark is gracious enough to spend his time walking us through the app’s features. For starters, it looks great. Aesthetics aren’t always the most important thing when considering your needs but it makes a world of difference when you don’t have to look at an ugly sight for extended periods of time.

Tracking your deliveries, checking out what orders have yet to be fulfilled, full barcode-scanning and more all condense themselves into an app that will change the way your small business handles its shipping priorities. For more detailed information and a walkthrough of the app, allow Rodney to demonstrate Delivery Manager on a Google Nexus One in the video above.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. how am i supposed to take that guy from the video serious?

  2. This is one of the best parodies of a product video that I’ve ever seen.

  3. Despite the snide remarks, this is an extremely noteworthy app. Optimizing deliveries is a major cost for small businesses and a problem that is difficult to control, especially in the face of high fuel prices and competition with much larger firms. The required commitment to Telargo is not discussed, but if it is reasonable, this is a killer app for many small businesses.
