The Android devices we’ve been anticipating from LG for a while now have finally launched in South Korea. Both handsets, headed to Korean carriers SK Telecom and KT, are equipped with a 1ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.5-inch AMOLED 800×480 display, and a 5-megapixel camera. We’re inherently jealous of our Korean Phandroids that’ll be able to scoop the LG LU2300 up.
Alongside that, the LG SU2300 will launch, as well. The phones are identical in specs with difference coming from the SU2300’s slideout QWERTY keyboard as well as a built-in trackpad. The phones will come stocked with Android 1.6 on LG’s custom user interface, but should see an upgrade to 2.1 this summer.
Also announced was the Android 2.1-running LG SU950/KU9500. No specs on this particular phone, yet, but we expect to hear more once LG launches it in June. Until then, we’ll hold on to hope that we’ll get some of LG’s love in other parts of the world, too.

Those are actually some nice looking handsets. What service does the Korean telecoms use and are any the same as what we use here?
How much are these things going for? Does anyone know how much ram they’ll have? When do you think they’ll be coming to Europe. Ive been waiting 3 months to get a phone just because i wasn’t happy with what there was out,but this, this might be my phone.
Lg are getting better but still ill stick with my htc desire, but its all good for android. Fuck you apple android itself is the idont killer, they common and look dated now compaired to a droid incredible, htc desire sony x10, moto droid all better than iphone..
@androidfanuk and yet an iphone 3gs still goes for more than some of the phone you’ve mentioned. I really fucking hate apple, but as long as people are dumb they will be successful therefore they will always be successful.
@androidfanuk, My guess is that english is not your native language. Let’s see if I get this right.
Fuck you Apple, Android is the idont killer. iPhones are common and look dated now when compaired to a Droid Incredible. HTC Desire, Sony X10, and Moto Droid are better than an iPhone.
At least that is what I believe you meant, I could be wrong.
@Ban, Agreed. There will always be idiots who need to be told what they can and can not do, the iPhone is perfect for them.
