Another phone snuck its way into the FCC records, recently. Chinese-bred Commtiva has cooked up a new Android handset – called the Blaze – and it appears to be carrying T-Mobile’s 3G bands. According to CellPhone Signal, the phone is set to launch for regional carrier Cincinnati Bell, who uses the same bands T-Mobile does.

No processor, storage, or RAM/ROM information yet, but it will ship with Android 1.6, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera and WiFi. It’s unlikely that we’ll see this thing launch for T-Mobile, but if this phone interests you and you’re a T-Mobile customer (or you don’t have Cincinnati Bell support where you are), you can keep hope alive that you’ll be able to use it whenever it launches.
Meh.
Tmobile gets the shittiest phones in the world… look at verizon with the droid, eris, and incredible… look at sprint with the hero, moment and the evo 4g… tmobile doesnt have NOTHING on them. come on, moto cliq, g1 and mytouch 3g??? I understand that you can get the Nexus one but they need to start selling it at stores rather than online. Im sick of this! they need to get their stuff together and push out a QUALITY phone.
That is one butt-ugly phone.
Calm down snook :) t-mobile helped start the Android revolution in the US.. we should be THANKING them for giving the early Android devices a home! Sure, they haven’t had anything worth a first glance since the Hero last summer, but I suspect they will be adding quality devices to their lineup this summer (HTC Desire is reported as definite, possible Galaxy S).
@Snook I’m with u
I have a nexu1 but I wouldn’t mind buying
Another super phone.
Ps.
I’m a T-Mobile customer and they have better prices than anyone else
errr.. replace mytouch with hero in my post. duh.
message to all phone manufaturers: I will not buy any of your shitty products. no 720p recording? no deal…
I wonder how much this will cost off contract..
What are the radios for T-Mobile US
If t mobile gets the Desire or Galaxy S then I will go to a t mobile store and kiss every employee there! lol I know that t mobile was the first to push out android but it just kills me that all the late bloomers (Verizon, Sprint and even AT&T) are getting the best phones. Shouldn’t t mobile get the droid? or the hero? But like I said before, if they push out the Desire or Galaxy S then I will 100 percent retract my last statement.
Not likely to be the last time this phone appears with different branding. At least it’ll be available in North America through a retail outlet.

Yeah Tmobile was the 1st w/droid technology, with that said you would think that they would have 1st dibs on the new cool phones, they keep getting the less attractive phones. I am a loyal Tmobile customer, since 1997…heck I work for At&t, because they have the best rates. I wish they would step up to the plate and get better styled phones.
