We heard Google would be matching Apple tit-for-tit on a music family plan, and so they did. The company officially announced a 6-member family plan that allows a family to enjoy tunes on their own accounts for just $14.99 per month. That’s $2.50 per person!
Each member of the family gets their own recommendations and playlists, as well as device authorization limits so there’s no need to worry about someone interfering with your stuff. It’s a great response to the generous plan Apple debuted with their Music platform, and it looks like Google’s mirrored action will make this the industry standard to meet or beat.
Unfortunately the plan isn’t immediately available for use, though Google promises they’ll have it ready to roll by the end of the year. Are you going to to take advantage?
