Nexus 5X gets updated to build MDB08I, could bring Band 12 for T-Mobile users

The Nexus 5X seems to be getting itself a quick update for those who have them in-hand this week. It’s build MDB08I, a 42MB download that doesn’t seem to change much on the surface.

It’s possible this update could enable Band 12 and VoLTE on T-Mobile’s network. Some users have reported seeing their phone successfully hop onto Band 12 and using the network no problem. We also imagine some other minor tweaks and performance enhancement changes are in store.
