Instagram’s new Boomerang app makes it easy to make short videos

Instagram has unleashed a new app that should make it easier for you to make creative short videos to share with your friends and family. It’s called Boomerang, and it uses an image stitching method (it takes 10 quick images) to make a 1-second looping clip of whatever it is you want to record.

The app is so simple that there’s just one button. Press it when you’re ready to record, and it does the rest. When you share the clip to Facebook or Instagram it’ll be on an infinite loop for anyone who wants to watch it.
