Looks like Bell was a bit quiet on this launch. IntoMobile is reporting that Canadian carrier Bell has launched the Motorola DEXT (see: Motorola CLIQ) today and that it’s available to order right now. It seems this is the second of 3 MOTOBLUR-enabled phones to see Canadian launches (with the first being the Motorola Backflip with Telus).
You can grab the DEXT up now for $79.95 with a 3-year contract, with an off-contract price set at $399.95. Nothing different compared to the US-branded CLIQ, here, as it sports a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 1.5 with a coating of MOTOBLUR, a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, and all of your usual connectivity options. Will you be jumping for the DEXT or waiting to get your first dance with the HTC Legend in early June?
Ooooh the Motorola Cliq (or DEXT in this case). My First Android phone, how i loved it so much with its QWERTY, but my Nexus definitely has my love now.
And $79.95 on a 3 YEAR CONTRACT?! wooaahh, by the time that contract is over this phone will definitely be ancient history. Its already turning that way now.
a little bit off subject but come on t-mobile/motorola where is android 2.1 for my cliq we are already halfway through q2
