As CES brings us more and more announcements of new Android TV and Google Cast devices, Google has announced a slew of new manufacturing partners that will help turn their vision of the connected living room into reality. On a post to their official blog, has announced that later this year we can expect Android TV devices from manufacturers including Arcelik, Vestel, RCA, Hisense, TCL and Bang & Olufsen. This is in addition to current and recently announced devices from the likes of Sony, Sharp and Philips.
On the Google Cast front, speaker manufacturing partners have been announced to include B&O Play, Harman Kardon, Onkyo, Philips, Pioneer, and Raumfeld, as well as updated speaker lineups from Sony and LG. Multi-room playback support will also come to Google Cast-enabled speakers in 2016, allowing for playback synchronization across brands through Chromecast Audio.
