By Huawei has announced that their affordable GX8 smartphone is now available in the US. It costs $349 for a Snapdragon 616 device with a 5.5-inch HD display and a 3,000mAh battery, and that’s great!
Except, the Honor 5X is basically the exact same phone and costs $150 less. There is one subtle difference between the two — it’s slightly more rounded at the edges and the caps on the top and bottom of the phone look a bit different. Here’s a photo of it if you are looking to compare:

To be honest, we think the Honor 5X already looks gorgeous and given that it sports the same exact internals we’d be hard-pressed to find a good reason to go with the GX8 over it.
