A good handful of Verizon users are in for a treat these next few days. Starting today, folks with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will start getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a good indication that the leaked update roadmap we saw a couple of days ago was spot on.
To be specific, the device is receiving Android 6.0.1 and build MMB29K, meaning there isn’t any better you can get at this time. The update brings all the usual Marshmallow goodness, but also enables WiFi calling for those who find that feature important.
Note users won’t be the only ones jumping for joy. HTC’s Mo Versi has confirmed that One M8 users on the carrier are also getting Marshmallow. The technical approval has already gone through, and the rollout is expected to commence March 7th. Be on the lookout for it when you start your work week next Monday.
