As GoldGenie has done with many previous Galaxy S phones, the company has taken the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge into the forge and brought them out with a coat of gold. The company has treated the devices with 24-karat plating around the metal exteriors and glass back.
The photos above give an accurate depiction of the devices after they’ve been given the Midas touch. To be honest, we’re not sure we’re digging the whole glittery thing going on there, though it’s sure to be someone’s style. You can see that the metal rings around the camera and flash modules are also golden, so GoldGenie let no stone unturned.
Even more less pleasant than it look, though, is the price tag. GoldGenie will let it go for $1,500 and $1,600. That’s a very lofty price tag for something that likely won’t retain much value down the line, but it’s up to you to determine its worth.
The phone is fully unlocked and usable around the world so there’s no worry about compatibility with buying it unless you’re on carriers like Verizon and Sprint in the US. You can head right here to get started if you’re interested. Would you buy one of these?
