Finding the perfect GIF to send your friends can be a pain and Gfycat is a popular web service that makes finding GIFs easier by allowing you to create, discover, and share GIFs, via its services. The company has released its first app onto the Play Store, with some unfortunate news in tow.
While the app is available for those in select regions, the US is not one of the lucky areas to get the app. It’s not known whether Gfycat will be reaching out to the US anytime soon, but for now, we’ll have to stick to the likes of Giphy, or using the web version of Gfycat on our mobile devices.
The app features over 20 million GIFs to choose from, and allows you to easily send it to a plethora of different services. Some of which include Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or SMS.
Create a GIF out of a video in your gallery in a few seconds. You can also use your camera in one of two modes: a burst mode to capture 2 seconds or up to a 15 second. Pick from a variety of filters to make the GIF even cooler. Cut it, slice it, and upload it!
Drop us a line below and let us know if Gfycat is available in your region, and how it stands up against other GIF applications and services available on the Play Store.
