August 2nd is just over 2 weeks out, but that doesn’t mean folks can’t start planning to buy the cases they need to protect the thing. Today, MobileFun has revealed the list of official accessories that Samsung will have on offer for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 at launch. Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Clear View Cover Case – Black
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Clear View Cover Case – Blue
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Clear View Cover Case – Gold
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Leather Cover – Black
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 LED Flip Wallet Cover – Black
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 LED Flip Wallet Cover – Blue
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 LED Flip Wallet Cover – Gold
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Lens Cover – Black
  • Official Samsung Galaxy Note 7 QWERTY Keyboard Cover – Black
  • Official Samsung S-View Galaxy Note 7 Case – Black
  • Official Samsung S-View Galaxy Note 7 Case – Blue
  • Official Samsung S-View Galaxy Note 7 Case – Gold
  • Official Samsung S-View Galaxy Note 7 Case – Yellow

There aren’t many surprises here if you’re familiar with Samsung’s cases, however the lack of varying color options for the QWERTY keyboard cover might be a bit offputting for some (and there’s a chance that could change after launch).

Beyond that, case maker VRS Design (formally known as Verus) is back at it again with the whi– excuse me, pre-launch case renders. These case makers are known to release renders based on leak designs and not necessarily anything official, but it’s nice to get an idea of how your phone will look inside a protective shell once you’ve had it.

August 2nd is the day you’ll be hearing more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but stay on the lookout for more leaks and rumors leading up to the event in the meantime.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
