Moto M leak gives us another look at Lenovo’s next phone

Another shot of the forthcoming Moto M has surfaced. The last time we saw the device we were tipped to its metal unibody enclosure and first signs that Motorola had moved the fingerprint sensor to the rear of the phone, something that their Moto Z phones can’t say.

Well, here’s another look at the device in what appear to be preliminary press renders of the thing. As we learned in previous rumors, the device does appear to be dressed in a gold-colored metal. We also learn that its rear-facing fingerprint sensor won’t double as the iconic Moto dimple — it’s its own element, with the Moto dimple being lower on the device’s backside.

Previous rumors have said to expect a device with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Coupled with rumors of a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a mid-tier MediaTek chipset, and 16MP and 8MP cameras for the rear and front, it’s sounding like this won’t be a top-line device for Moto, but should challenge the Chinese market where affordable devices are becoming almost indiscernible to flagships.
