Earlier this month, we saw Huawei begin sending out invitations for an event scheduled for tomorrow, where the company is expected to unveil the Huawei Nova 2. However, we haven’t seen or heard much regarding this device over the past few weeks, until someone was able to get their hands on the device a day early.
Thanks to a series of images, we now know what the Nova 2 will look like, as Huawei departs from the Nexus 6P-like design. Instead, it seems the Nova 2 is adopting a design that falls more in line with that of the Huawei P9 or P10 and will feature dual rear cameras, along with the rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
There really isn’t much else to see here on these leaks, other than the fact that the Nova 2 will definitely be on the sleeker side, along with an all-aluminum build. However, as for those cameras, previous leaks suggest we will see two 12MP sensors, but there’s no information as to whether the device will include lenses similar to what’s found on the LG G6.
As for pricing, our best guess for the Huawei Nova 2 is around the €399 price point that was found on its predecessor. But we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what Huawei has been working on for its new mid-range device.
