Samsung Galaxy Tab Gets Wi-Fi Certification

Even with all of the noise about this Motorola Droid X doohickey, Samsung and their devices have been dominating the news stream lately. Yesterday, it was discovered that the Samsung GT-P1000 – more affectionately known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab – has received its Wi-Fi certification.

We all know what that means. Bluetooth SIG comes next, then the FCC, then the Global Certification Forum, and before you know it, you’re walking around with a 7-inch tablet device that looks like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S (not that it’s particularly a bad thing).

  1. wi-fi and cell. The biggest phone in the world haha! But it means you can use it in the park and still have internet.
