The official launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro is only one day away. With all the rumors circulating, we know pretty much every last detail about the phone already, even its price. According to @ishangarwal24, the European pricing of the OnePlus 7 Pro with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will start at €699/€709 depending on the exact market. While the price is higher than what we’ve seen from OnePlus in the past, it’s still lower than the €749 sticker price of the Samsung Galaxy S10e. If you’re willing to pay €749, OnePlus will bump things up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but you’ll also be able to get 12GB of RAM if you don’t mind spending €819.
Personally, I have a philosophical issue with the higher price of the new OnePlus 7 devices. The phones are still significantly cheaper than what Samsung and Apple are pushing out, but OnePlus has closed the gap significantly over the past few years. We’re now looking at a 20-30% difference in price as opposed to the original 50% price difference.
The good news is that the company has come a long way since its inception. The build quality of its devices is on par or even better than what the competition hs to offer and the camera experience this year should match what we’ve become accustomed to from the big players.
Do you think the pricing of the new OnePlus 7 smartphones will have a negative impact on sales?
So, I already gave you guys the European prices for 8GB+256GB (€749) and 12GB+256GB (€819) OnePlus 7 Pro. I have finally got the price for 6GB+128GB as well. It's gonna start at €699/€709 depending on the country. The base variant will only be available in Mirror Grey. https://t.co/IQOwEkPXTr
