If you’re a fan of Nokia smartphones, then you’ll be pleased to learn that HMD Global could have a new Nokia-branded smartphone in the works. Thanks to a series of photos that leaked online, it appears that the company could be working on a new smartphone codenamed “Daredevil”.
In terms of its specs, it is a mid-ranged handset but what’s interesting about the handset is that it has been rumored to come with a 48MP camera on its back. Based on the photos, it also appears that it could be sporting a triple camera setup as well, along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for its other specs, the phone will apparently be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, a Full HD+ display, and a 3,500mAh battery. Other than that, not much else is known about “Daredevil”, but we have heard that it could be launched as the Nokia 5.2, but there is no confirmation just yet.
It is also not known when the phone will be officially announced nor how much it could cost, but given its specs, we doubt it will be too expensive. For those who might prefer a higher-end Nokia handset, we have heard rumors from earlier this year that a Snapdragon 855-powered Nokia handset with a 5G could be launching late 2019, so you could always wait for that handset if you prefer.
