When it comes to routers, there are so many out there to choose from, so the question is, which should you choose? If you’re in the market for a new router, TP-Link could have something that might be of interest to you.
The company’s TP-Link AC1750 smart WiFi router is currently on sale on Amazon where it has its price slashed from $80 to $58, representing a decent 28% discount and a savings of $22. So what makes this router different from the rest? For starters, it is a “smart” router where it is compatible with Alexa. This means that you can use your Echo devices or an Alexa-enabled smartphone or smart speaker to issue commands to it.
In addition to being Alexa-supported, the router can also be configured with parental controls and guest access, easy to manage through its mobile app, and there is also IFTTT support. This means that users can setup triggers through the app to allow the router to respond to certain events.
As for the specs of the modem, there is support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, 3 external antennas that the company claims will comfortably cover up to 2,500 square feet, an integrated USB port, and also 4 Gigabit LAN ports.
