Depending on the website and service you are using, it might have a different requirement in terms of password length and combination. This can be troublesome because it means that in the end, you might end up with different passwords for different websites which can sometimes be hard to remember.
The good news is that Google is trying to make your life a bit easier as far as remembering passwords are concerned, where they will now be allowing users to log into some of its services using your fingerprint. This will be a feature available across Android devices running Android 7.0 or higher, where all users need to do is set it up by going to passwords.google.com and they’ll be good to go.
Given that Google already allows users to use their fingerprint to authenticate themselves when unlocking their phones, logging into apps, making purchases on the Play Store, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that they would allow users to log into websites using fingerprints as well.
We know that Google is interested in ditching the password as the company has stated way back in 2015 that they are working to eliminate it. The company has made some progress on that front, such as by creating the Titan security key that authenticates users on devices it is plugged into.
