With 5G being relatively new technology, it’s not surprising that the majority of phone makers want to include it in their flagship smartphones as one of its selling points. This also means that getting your hands on a 5G smartphone at the moment will not come cheap, but that’s a problem that Samsung is looking to solve.
The company has recently announced their latest mid-range phone part of the Galaxy A series in the form of the Galaxy A90 5G. While the Galaxy A series is usually a mid-range lineup, the Galaxy A90 5G actually packs some pretty decent hardware.
This includes the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6-8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There will also be a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED screen accompanying the handset, a triple camera setup on the back with a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP combination, a 32MP front-facing camera, a 4,500mAh battery, and of course, 5G.
While pricing of the phone has yet to be officially confirmed, as we said, the Galaxy A-series tends to be more on the affordable side, so there is a chance that it will not break the bank. It will be launching in South Korea first, but there is no word on when it will eventually find its way stateside.
