Google’s new Stadia commercial is completely ridiculous

While those who have pre-ordered Stadia are still waiting for their Founder’s Edition controller and codes to show up this week, Google has started promoting the streaming gaming service to the public with a new commercial. As with most gaming platform commercials, Google has put on a big show which is completely over the top. The 2-minute commercial starts off with an average customer asking a store employee a question. Before the customer can even finish, the employee interrupts him, proclaiming:

“Stadia is only the newest, most logic-defying, mind-bending, absurd gaming platform on earth. Forget boxes, forget consoles. Just your games, your screen, and electric air. And this electric air is Stadia!”

And that’s just the beginning. If you want to see how much more ridiculous the commercial gets, you’ll have to watch it for yourself. We’re excited to see that Google is hyped up about the launch of Stadia. Hopefully, they’ll be able to fix the service so that it delivers everything Google has promised.
