OnePlus Nord beats out the LG Velvet in camera comparison

Our OnePLus Nord camera comparison series continues with a new matchup against the LG Velvet. While previous comparisons have pitted the Nord against flagship-tier smartphones, this time around the phone is going up against a phone in the same category.

Both the Oneplus Nord and LG Velvet have 48MP main cameras, 8MP ultrawide cameras and 5MP depth sensors on the back of the phone with an extra 2MP macro camera on the Nord with video capture maxing out at 4K/30fps. The Nord does have the advantage though with its dual front-facing cameras with a 32MP main sensor and 8MP sensor paired with an ultrawide lens. The LG Velvet on the other hand has a single 16MP sensor. Video quality from the front-facing camera on the LG Velvet is limited to 1080p/30fps while the Nord’s two cameras can capture 4K video at 60fps.
